The Service Manager role at Texas Roadhouse is a pivotal position within the restaurant that oversees all front-of-house daily operations. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in front of-house operations or management
  • Valid alcohol service certification where required
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to uphold and enforce company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
  • Providing or directing all front of house training
  • Managing performance of front of house employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • Managing liquor orders and controlling costs
  • Enforcing liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines
  • Assisting with employee development through daily feedback
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring front of house staff
  • Directing work including scheduling and task assignment
  • Creating a fun and safe environment through contests, theme nights, and incentives
  • Practicing safe food handling procedures
