The role of the Service Manager at Texas Roadhouse is central to the successful operation of the restaurant’s front of house. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing Front of House (FOH) employees, and ensuring that every guest receives the legendary service that Texas Roadhouse is known for. The Service Manager drives sales by leading steps of service and maintaining high guest satisfaction levels. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Understanding of responsible alcohol service

Job Duties
- Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
- Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety
- Providing and directing Front of House training
- Managing performance of Front of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- Managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
- Enforcing liquor laws and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Assisting in development of employees through feedback and one-on-ones
- Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring Front of House employees
- Scheduling and assigning tasks for employees before, during, and after restaurant hours
- Creating a fun, safe environment by implementing contests, theme nights, and staff incentives
- Practicing safe food handling procedures
