The position of Service Manager at Texas Roadhouse plays a critical role in overseeing all Front of House daily operations to ensure that legendary food quality and service standards are consistently met. This role requires a passion for people and leadership as Service Managers are responsible for managing all Front of House employees, driving sales, enhancing guest satisfaction, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for guests and staff alike. Service Managers work closely with other management team members to enforce compliance with employment policies and all regulatory requirements, including applicable liquor laws and responsible alcohol service. The role is pivotal in training staff, managing performance through coaching and evaluations, and developing future leaders within the restaurant.

Job Duties

  • Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
  • providing or directing all Front of House training
  • managing performance of Front of House employees including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
  • enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
  • assisting with development of key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees through daily performance feedback
  • reviewing applications, interviewing, and recommending or hiring Front of House employees
  • directing work schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after restaurant hours
  • creating a fun and safe environment through contests, theme nights, and staff incentives
  • understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures
