Currently, The Stand Restaurant in Whittier, California, is seeking a passionate and driven Service Leader / Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their team. This full-time position (40–45 hours per week) plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant while championing a culture of exceptional guest experiences and teamwork. As a Service Leader, you will lead and motivate the Front of House team, ensuring that all staff are trained and developed to meet the high standards of service The Stand is known for. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple front and back-of-house operations, from maintaining cleanliness and safety standards to preparing food according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
The role demands strong leadership skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a genuine passion for food and hospitality. - At least 1+ year of restaurant management or AGM experience
- Must be 21+ years old
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for long periods
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures and conditions

- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills

Job Duties
- Lead and motivate the Front of House team, training and developing staff
- Deliver exceptional guest service and foster a positive, team-oriented culture
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including multiple kitchen stations
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the restaurant
- Prepare food and follow recipes and presentation standards
- Handle daily paperwork and support restaurant operations
- Work full-time (40–45 hours/week), including weekends and holidays
