Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) is a renowned fast-casual restaurant chain committed to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food. Founded on the principle of Food With Integrity, Chipotle emphasizes wholesome ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, setting itself apart from traditional fast-food experiences. With locations across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle stands out as the only restaurant company of its size that owns and operates all its restaurants in North America and Europe. This direct control allows Chipotle to maintain high standards of quality, sustainability, and customer service throughout its operations. Chipotle has a strong commitment to sustainability, digital innovation, and fostering a culture rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion. It strives to provide an excellent guest experience through passionate employees who are dedicated to supporting the company's mission of making better food accessible to everyone. Chipotle is also known for being a forward-thinking employer, offering opportunities for advancement where 80% of their managers started as crew members, creating a unique career pathway within the fast-food industry.

The Service Leader role at Chipotle is a pivotal position that plays a critical role in the restaurant's success by ensuring that customers receive not only fast but also high-quality, safe food in a welcoming environment. As a Service Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining an energetic and positive customer experience, guaranteeing that food safety protocols are followed, and supporting the team to excel in their roles. This position requires active involvement on the floor during operating hours, including working on your feet and coordinating with the crew to ensure efficient service lines and properly functioning equipment. You will also have managerial responsibilities such as monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, and meeting schedules, assisting with crew performance reviews, and cross-training staff to build a skilled and versatile team. Furthermore, the Service Leader supports office administration duties including cash handling, banking, office supplies management, and ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly behind the scenes. This role demands strong leadership skills, knowledge of food safety regulations, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Chipotle offers competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, digital tips, tuition assistance, free food, and an inclusive work environment committed to the growth and development of its team members.
