The Service Leader role is pivotal in maintaining high customer satisfaction by ensuring the preparation and service of safe, high-quality food while supporting restaurant crew training and development. This full-time role requires individuals who can stay active while on shift, efficiently manage line operations and equipment, and support their teammates with varied tasks during slower periods. The role also demands adherence to food safety protocols, proper handling of customer incidents, managing staff schedules, and assisting with office administrative duties focused on operations such as cash handling and supply management.Service Leaders are tasked with upholding Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy, ensuring food safety compliance by monitoring handwashing practices, glove changes, temperature controls, and implementing the Daily Food Safety Checklist. They help resolve food quality and customer service issues and play a vital part in crew development through performance reviews, cross-training, and leadership growth. Job Duties
- Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served
- help resolve food quality issues
- support food safety including ensuring hand washing and glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, monitoring secondary shelf lives, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies
- help resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences
- monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules
- develop and cross train all front of house crew
- assist with crew performance reviews
- develop future service leaders
- assist with miscellaneous office administration duties including banking, cash handling policies and responsibilities, and office paperwork
- ensure office equipment remains functional and office supplies are ordered as necessary
- ensure the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed
