Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a pioneering leader in the fast-casual dining industry, committed to cultivating a better world through responsibly sourced and classically cooked real food. Since its inception, Chipotle has aimed to redefine the fast-food experience by serving high-quality meals prepared from wholesome ingredients without artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. With a presence in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle stands out as the only restaurant company of its size to own and operate all of its locations across North America and Europe. This ownership model allows the company to maintain strict quality control and uphold its Food With Integrity philosophy.

Chipotle is not just a restaurant; it is a movement towards responsible food sourcing, sustainability, and social responsibility. At the core of its mission is the desire to make better food accessible to everyone while simultaneously influencing the future of farming and food production. Employees at Chipotle are encouraged to contribute to this mission by embracing innovation, fostering inclusivity, and championing diversity in every facet of the business.

The Service Leader role at Chipotle is integral to sustaining the high standards of customer service and food quality for which the brand is known. This full-time position involves overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure outstanding guest experiences by managing food preparation, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the crew through training and development. Service Leaders actively contribute on the restaurant floor, working alongside crew members, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and assisting with administrative tasks such as cash handling and supply management.

Service Leaders are expected to embody Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy and play a pivotal role in upholding food safety protocols, such as monitoring handwashing, glove changes, and food temperature controls. They also handle customer concerns efficiently to safeguard customer satisfaction and loyalty. Beyond the restaurant operations, Service Leaders participate in the coaching and development of crew members, preparing them for future leadership roles and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Chipotle offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including tuition assistance (covering 100% of select degrees or up to $5,250 per year), medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, digital tips, and free food. The company values growth and provides ample advancement opportunities, with 80% of managers starting their careers as crew members, illustrating Chipotle’s commitment to internal development.

Overall, Chipotle is a people-first company deeply rooted in values of equity, diversity, and inclusion. It offers a dynamic work environment for those passionate about revolutionizing the fast-food industry while contributing positively to society and the environment. Service Leaders at Chipotle are not only supervisors but also ambassadors of the brand's vision to change the face of fast food and cultivate a better food system.
