As a people-first company, Chipotle values diversity, equity, and inclusion, making it an inviting workplace for candidates from all backgrounds.

The role of a Service Leader at Chipotle is pivotal in sustaining the company’s core mission to offer better food and outstanding customer service efficiently. This position requires hands-on involvement in daily restaurant operations, including maintaining safety, food quality, and training new and existing crew members. Service Leaders are responsible for upholding food safety standards by monitoring hand washing, glove changes, line temperatures, and shelf lives. They also ensure that the restaurant line is kept clean, organized, and equipped with fully functioning tools. With the focus on customer satisfaction, Service Leaders address and resolve any food quality issues promptly, as well as handle customer incidents professionally to enhance the dining experience.

A Service Leader at Chipotle not only manages the frontline service but also performs administrative duties such as office paperwork, banking, cash handling, and ordering supplies. This role includes mentoring crew members and developing future leaders by conducting performance reviews and cross-training employees. Service Leaders are expected to be proactive throughout their shifts, supporting team members and managing work schedules effectively. The position is physically active, requiring standing on feet during working hours unless on breaks.

Employment in this role offers competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits such as tuition assistance for select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, free meals, medical, dental, and vision insurance, digital tips, paid time off, and holiday closures. Notably, Chipotle supports employee growth with ample career advancement opportunities, with a high percentage of managers having advanced from crew positions. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about excellent food, customer service, and leadership within a fast-paced and evolving food service environment.
