The role of Service Greeter/Porter at Casey Kia is a dynamic position primarily based in the busy service drive area. Serving as the first point of contact for customers, individuals in this role play a critical part in shaping the customer experience from the moment clients arrive. The Service Greeter/Porter is responsible for welcoming customers with an upbeat attitude and escorting them to their designated Service Advisor, ensuring customers feel valued and attended to immediately. The position involves a blend of customer service duties and hands-on vehicle preparation tasks, requiring candidates to be outgoing, friendly, and highly attentive to detail. Key responsibilities include assisting Service Advisors with various tasks, dressing vehicles for service by applying protective covers, performing initial vehicle inspections such as checking batteries and fluid levels, and efficiently moving and parking customer vehicles to optimize the service lane flow. Additionally, the role involves preparing customer vehicles for delivery by verifying tire pressure, fluid levels, and cleanliness, maintaining the organization and appeal of service areas, and ensuring lot maintenance is consistently upheld.

Working as a Service Greeter/Porter requires a proactive approach, physical stamina, and a positive disposition. The job demands extensive walking, kneeling, and bending in varying weather conditions, making it suitable for individuals who enjoy an active and engaging work environment. The position is full-time, with shifts scheduled between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm from Monday through Saturday, including some holidays, supporting a balanced schedule for employees. Successful candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record, and preferably have the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record
  • Ability to safely drive both manual and automatic transmissions is preferred
  • Outgoing and friendly personality
  • Ability to work 40+ hours per week
  • Must be able to work scheduled shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Saturday including some holidays
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including extensive walking, kneeling, and bending in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Previous customer service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Greeting every customer with an upbeat attitude and escorting them to their assigned Service Advisor
  • Assisting Service Advisors with various tasks
  • Dressing vehicles for service by applying steering wheel, seat, and floor covers
  • Performing initial vehicle checks including testing batteries and topping off fluid levels
  • Attaching key tags to vehicles
  • Moving and parking customer vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Preparing customer vehicles for delivery by checking tire pressure and fluids and ensuring cleanliness
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and appealing appearance of service lanes and parking lots
