Renowned for its dedication to providing a superior customer experience, the company emphasizes quality service, professional integrity, and a welcoming environment for all its clients. Their extensive inventory includes new and pre-owned vehicles from various makes and models, supported by a knowledgeable sales team and a comprehensive service department. The company continually invests in staff training and development to ensure customers receive expert assistance throughout their car buying or servicing journey. The current opportunity is for the position of Service Valet at Jerry Durant Auto Group. This role is integral to the service department's efforts to maintain an efficient, professional, and customer-friendly environment. The Service Valet is responsible for parking and retrieving customer vehicles in a courteous and timely manner. This position functions as the initial point of contact and support for clients visiting the service department, requiring an individual who can interact warmly with customers and ensure their vehicles are handled with the utmost care. Key responsibilities include greeting clients, escorting them to appropriate service personnel, managing vehicle logistics such as parking and retrieval, and assisting with simple vehicle maintenance tasks like installing license plates and replacing bulbs.
The role demands significant physical activity and requires the ability to handle tasks such as moving vehicles, sometimes inoperable, and managing luggage transfers. Due to the nature of the job, candidates must possess a valid and insurable driver's license, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds. While prior experience is not necessary, the ideal Service Valet will demonstrate reliability, a strong customer service mindset, and attention to detail in vehicle handling. The company also places a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to dealership policies regarding vehicle care.
Jerry Durant Auto Group offers a supportive work environment where career growth and continuous learning are encouraged through company-paid education and training programs. Additional benefits include medical, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a 401K retirement savings plan, paid vacation, and holiday pay. The company is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, providing fair employment practices and advancement opportunities regardless of race, gender, age, or other protected characteristics.
