Job Description
Baker Hughes is a renowned leader in the oilfield services industry, specializing in innovative energy solutions that drive the advancement of oil and gas exploration, production, and well intervention. As a global energy technology company, Baker Hughes has built its reputation on delivering superior products and services that enhance operational efficiency and safety across the energy sector. With a rich history spanning over a century, the company continuously invests in technology, workforce development, and sustainable practices to meet the evolving demands of the energy industry.
This particular role is positioned within the Completions & Well Intervention group of Baker Hughes' Oilfield Services division, focusing on Wellbore Interventions. The Service Delivery Coordinator plays a pivotal part in ensuring successful intervention operations, specifically within the Permian Basin—a critical and high-profile oil-producing region. This position requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is driven by problem-solving and adherence to safety and operational standards.
The Service Delivery Coordinator is charged with coordinating and monitoring all job activities across organizational boundaries to ensure alignment with client expectations and Baker Hughes' operational excellence standards. Key responsibilities include managing multiple wellbore service products such as Thru-Tubing Drillouts, Wellbore Cleanouts, Casing Exits, and Fishing operations. This role demands meticulous attention to detail to guarantee that operations comply with internal non-negotiables and cultural pillars, while also ensuring compliance with client-specific procedures for Management of Change (MOC) and escalation protocols to mitigate risks effectively.
This position functions as the primary liaison for clients throughout the job lifecycle—from preparation to execution and closeout—ensuring that the work is done in line with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contractual agreements. Additional responsibilities involve coordinating technical personnel, overseeing job cycle adherence, safeguarding against revenue leakage by verifying invoice accuracy, and facilitating timely cash collection.
The culture within Baker Hughes emphasizes discipline and operational rigor, anchored in the "5 Fundamentals of Service Delivery": Project and Deployment Readiness, Risk Assessment, Management of Change, Incident Management, and compliance with the integrated Management of Technical Job Cycle (iMtJC) process. This role is not only instrumental in executing these fundamentals but also in driving their continuous improvement and integration into day-to-day operations.
Candidates suitable for this role are expected to bring a minimum of five years' experience in wellbore intervention operations, with a solid background in supervision, field operations, and coordination of well services. Baker Hughes values diversity and encourages individuals to bring their whole authentic selves to work, fostering an inclusive environment where all employees can thrive and contribute their best.
Joining Baker Hughes offers an excellent opportunity to work for a pioneering energy sector leader known for pushing the boundaries of technology and operational performance. Employees benefit from a comprehensive and competitive package that includes private medical care, life insurance, disability programs, financial planning services, and various employee-elected benefits. The company promotes a healthy work-life balance, invests in employee wellbeing, and encourages ongoing professional development and leadership growth.
This role reflects Baker Hughes' commitment to operational excellence, client satisfaction, and sustainable energy solutions, positioning the Service Delivery Coordinator as a key contributor to the company’s continued success in the wellbore intervention arena.
