The role of Service Bartender is an integral position within our team, focusing on the art of beverage preparation and superior customer interaction. This part-time role requires a person with extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. The bartender is expected to master the craft of mixing cocktails, pouring beers and wines, and serving beverages directly or through coordinated service staff, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and pleasant experience. Beyond drink preparation, the Service Bartender is responsible for maintaining operational bar maintenance, which includes stocking inventory, prepping garnishes, cleaning glassware, and maintaining a hygienic work environment.

Safety and compliance are pivotal in this role; verifying customers' legal age and monitoring alcohol consumption to prevent over-intoxication are essential duties. The bartender will utilize POS systems for efficient transaction management, handling cash, credit cards, and tips with professionalism and accuracy. An innovative aspect of the position includes contributing to menu development by creating or updating cocktail menus and recommending new beverages to keep the offerings fresh and enticing. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills to engage customers effectively, demonstrate physical stamina to meet the demands of long shifts, and show a commitment to adhering to safety regulations such as TIPS and ServSafe.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required, reflecting our diverse customer base and enhancing communication within the team and with patrons. The candidate must be available for both day and night shifts and have prior experience of at least two years in a restaurant environment.
