Job Requirements
- Meet minimum legal age requirements for handling non-alcoholic beverages and bar supplies
- Be available to work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends as needed
- Ability to read and understand written or printed instructions and checklists
- Capable of lifting and carrying items up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, and perform cleaning tasks frequently
- Function effectively in a busy, fast-paced, and noisy environment
- Maintain a positive and helpful attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality or bar environment preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and helpful attitude under pressure
- Knowledge of basic bar operations and safety standards
- Ability to comply with age verification and responsible service policies
Job Duties
- Contribute to outstanding guest service by ensuring the service bar is well-stocked and efficiently run
- Inform the immediate supervisor of any supply shortages, equipment malfunctions, or other significant issues and proactively suggest solutions
- Provide timely and efficient support to bartenders by preparing garnishes, stocking ice, and ensuring adequate supplies
- Maintain a welcoming and helpful attitude while performing various job duties
- Assist bartenders with drink preparation by gathering ingredients and ensuring they have the necessary tools and supplies
- Prepare and stock non-alcoholic beverages, garnishes, and other bar necessities accurately and efficiently according to established standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked service bar area
- Assist with inventory management by counting and restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all age verification policies and report any concerns
- Support responsible alcohol service by ensuring bartenders have the resources needed
- Assist departing guests by ensuring a positive service experience and relaying feedback
- Inform the manager of issues impacting guest satisfaction or efficiency
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to bar operations and safety
- Assist in receiving and organizing bar deliveries
- Clean and sanitize the service bar area including equipment regularly
- Work effectively with bartenders and team members to ensure smooth service
- Maintain a positive and cooperative working relationship with all team members
