Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Must have TIPS certification or obtain within 30 days
Current Food Handlers card required
Weekend availability required
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Ability to multitask efficiently
Clear communication skills in English
Energetic and enthusiastic demeanor
Ability to adhere to service and quality standards
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 20 pounds

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Clear and reset tables using a tray service
Prep dining area for service
Take used plates, utensils, and drinkware to dishwasher area
Handle problem solving and special requests
Provide highest quality of service to customers
Arrange dining room to cater to guest numbers
Work as a team in a fast-paced five star environment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of restaurant
Set up trash cans, soda, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift
Maintain cleanliness of work areas including china and glass throughout the day
Set up heat lamps or umbrellas per guest request
Complete closing duties including restocking and turning off lights
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Communicate with clear and professional language
Adhere to quality expectations and standards
Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
Set tables according to service standards
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company and Forbes standards
Run food and bus tables
Anticipate and address guest service needs
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Move and place objects up to 20 pounds
Perform other reasonable duties as requested by servers and supervisors
