Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum two years previous advisor experience
  • two years experience in dealership position
  • ability to read and comprehend instructions
  • general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
  • professional appearance
  • excellent communication skills
  • authorized to work in the USA
  • able to perform duties safely
  • able to pass background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

Job Qualifications

  • Two years or more of previous advisor experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • two years of experience in a dealership position
  • general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
  • ASE certification preferred
  • sales experience preferred
  • professional personal appearance
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • authorized to work in the USA
  • able to perform duties safely
  • able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license

Job Duties

  • Schedules service appointments
  • obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival
  • greets customers in a timely, friendly manner
  • provides complete and accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts
  • establishes promised service times
  • checks progress of repair throughout the day
  • contacts customers regarding any changes in estimate or promised time
  • explains cost and time requirements
  • obtains authorization before additional repairs
  • test-drives vehicles or refers to technicians
  • maintains customer satisfaction index ratings
  • advises customers on vehicle care and manufacturer maintenance
  • adheres to dealership standards for hours per repair order
  • complies with federal, state, and local regulations
  • follows all company safety policies
  • reports accidents to management immediately
