Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous food service experience preferred
Ability to work the specified shifts including weekdays and every other weekend
Ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Physical ability to perform serving duties including standing and lifting

Job Qualifications

Previous experience in serving roles in restaurants, diners, pubs, bars, banquet serving, senior living communities, or catering
Knowledge of proper serving etiquette and customer service skills
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift and carry items as required by the role

Job Duties

Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation and organization standards at all times
Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards consistently
Maintain dining room appearance and presentation standards
Deliver serving speed, accuracy and efficiency
Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
Take orders, provide courteous service and answer menu questions
Clear dishes during and after meals, assist with dish washing and reset tables
Serve customers with proper etiquette and promote a welcoming dining atmosphere
Knowledgeably serve diets per policy and procedure
Positively represent the community to create an inviting marketing environment
Support business goals through engagement and service excellence
