  • experience in full-service restaurant or customer-facing role
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • age 21 or older (for bartending duties)

  • responsible handling of cash and payment processing

Job Duties

  • Welcoming and sitting diners comfortably in the dining section
  • taking customers' food and drink orders
  • collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for the prompt and correct delivery of orders
  • memorizing the menu and recommending appetizers, meals, and drinks from restaurant wine stock
  • delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
  • assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers, and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
  • setting tables and rearranging the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
  • ensuring cooking utensils and kitchen area are cleaned after closing to comply with state regulations
  • verifying identification and age requirements of customers
  • mixing traditional and creative cocktails
  • processing payment from customers
  • cleaning glasses and bar utensils
  • making suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
  • recording and balancing cash receipts and preparing cash deposits
  • opening and maintaining tabs throughout their shift
  • building a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
