Job Description
Hay Creek Hotels is a renowned hospitality group known for its exceptional properties and dedication to providing superior guest experiences. With a portfolio that includes hotels, restaurants, and bars, Hay Creek Hotels has established itself as a leader in the hospitality industry by combining luxurious accommodations with outstanding service. The company fosters a supportive work environment focused on employee growth, career advancement, and a culture of teamwork and respect.
One of their signature establishments, The Patterson Restaurant & Bar at Hotel Hartness, is actively seeking professional, friendly, and fast-paced Servers and Bartenders to join their Food and Beverage Front of House team. This role involves greeting, directing, seating, and serving guests in alignment with company service standards. Candidates are expected to be knowledgeable about all beverage options and make informed recommendations to guests, enhancing their overall experience.
The position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a high-volume setting, crafting, mixing, and pouring beverages to exact specifications. Team members will also be engaged in maintaining cleanliness of work areas, efficiently completing side work, and assisting with cash reconciliation and POS transactions at the end of shifts. Additionally, Servers and Bartenders will have responsibilities to assist with customer concerns, communicate issues to supervisors, and even assume managerial duties after hours.
This role is not only about service but also about growth. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage Director to assist in cocktail development and contribute to beverage menu improvements. There is a strong emphasis on ongoing education about beverage offerings, ensuring all staff are well-versed in wine, beer, and liquor service policies.
Hay Creek Hotels offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes company-funded medical, dental, vision, life, disability, accident, and critical illness insurance. Employees benefit from competitive salary and wages, a generous paid time off structure encompassing vacation, sick leave, holidays, jury duty, and bereavement leave, along with annual performance reviews, merit, and cost of living adjustments.
Additional perks include complimentary meals daily, free parking, and exclusive discounts on lodging at all Hay Creek properties, as well as discounts on dining, entertainment, spas, golf courses, and fitness programs. The company promotes a fun, energetic, and motivating work culture, supported by an open-door policy and an employee recognition program known as 'Delight and Surprise Dollars.'
The company also prioritizes career progression by providing professional enrichment opportunities, including conferences, classes, and manager-in-training programs. Employment with Hay Creek Hotels includes participation in the federal E-Verify program to confirm the eligibility to work legally in the United States. Overall, this is a chance to join a celebrated hospitality group that values its employees, offers extensive benefits, and supports long-term career development in the hospitality industry.
