The Dining Room Server role at La Costa Glen is a vital position that requires delivering exemplary customer service within the community dining rooms. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation ranging from $17.40 to $18.00 per hour based on experience, and operates in a non-tipping environment, which ensures equitable pay for all servers. The schedule involves shifts from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM or 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, requiring at least one weekend day. Servers are entrusted with ensuring all standards of fine dining service are upheld and that residents receive courteous and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Their responsibilities include taking orders, answering questions about menu items, setting tables, maintaining workstations, and clearing dishes efficiently and graciously. Additionally, servers assist with dishwashing duties and ensure that any upgraded orders are accurately billed to resident accounts. This role requires excellent multitasking abilities, good communication skills, and a strong sense of teamwork as servers collaborate with residents, visitors, families, and staff. Safety compliance and maintaining department policies are integral to the role.

Job Duties
- Take orders from residents and guests
- provide table service in community dining rooms
