Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a server or in hospitality preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be well-groomed and wear proper uniform
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Must follow state liquor laws and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Valid food service and alcohol permit or ability to obtain one
  • Experience working as a server in a restaurant environment
  • Familiarity with POS systems and order entry
  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Willingness to attend ongoing trainings
  • Ability to follow company policies and state regulations

Job Duties

  • Obtain and maintain a valid food service and alcohol permit
  • Arrive to work as scheduled, prepared to assume shift responsibilities
  • Prepare section ready at scheduled time
  • Demonstrate knowledge of food, beverage menus, specials, and seasonal drinks
  • Follow all steps of service for each table as outlined in training manual
  • Accurately enter food and beverage orders into POS with minimal errors
  • Engage guests, coworkers and managers positively and professionally
  • Follow company policies regarding cash, credit card, and gift card transactions
  • Follow company policies regarding discounts, promos, and employee meals
  • Assist other employees to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Comply with state liquor laws and company policies on alcohol service
  • Attend ongoing food, bar or service trainings when scheduled
  • Follow direction of management for additional side work and cleaning
  • Ensure guests are taken care of from entrance to departure
