Job Description

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a renowned full-service restaurant chain celebrated for its laid-back atmosphere, uniquely quirky vibe, and delicious burgers that inspire guests with flavors beyond imagination. Established with a vision to provide an unforgettable dining experience, Red Robin combines exceptional food, outstanding customer service, and an energetic team culture to create a memorable environment for both employees and guests. The company strongly values inclusivity, celebrating diversity and fostering a sense of belonging among its team members and patrons alike. The brand's mission encompasses making everything fresh, fun, memorable, and above all, bringing smiles to everyone who walks through its doors.

As a high-volume restaurant concept, Red Robin emphasizes opportunities for growth and development within the company. Many of its current managers began as hourly team members, showcasing the strong career advancement potential that comes with dedication and passion. Employees at Red Robin enjoy working in an environment where unbridled hospitality, magnetic personalities, and team energy come together to create exceptional dining moments, ensuring guests leave with satisfaction and a smile.

The Server role at Red Robin is an exciting, dynamic position that plays a critical part in delivering the company's mission of fun, connection, and generosity to guests. Servers are responsible for taking customer orders using handheld technology, serving food and drinks promptly and accurately, and ensuring every guest enjoys a fun and satisfying dining experience. As front-of-house representatives, Servers must have excellent customer service skills to maintain Red Robin’s reputation for hospitality excellence.

In addition to a base pay rate starting at $2.13 per hour plus tips (ensuring the hourly pay meets or exceeds minimum wage), Servers have excellent earnings potential through variable tips. The role offers a flexible work schedule, making it suitable for individuals seeking adaptability in their work hours. Servers also receive generous discounts on Red Robin meals—50% off for themselves and 25% off for family members—along with referral bonuses for bringing new team members on board. This position is open to candidates 18 years of age or older.

Red Robin supports its team with additional compensation and benefits such as an employee stock purchase program (available after one year of service with at least 20 hours per week), comprehensive health insurance including vision, dental, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching up to 4% after meeting eligibility criteria, and paid time off accrual after one year of service. This supportive benefits package underscores the company’s commitment to the well-being and growth of its employees.

Joining Red Robin as a Server means becoming part of a community passionate about unbridled hospitality and delivering joy. Employees thrive in a vibrant atmosphere where their contributions are recognized, growth is encouraged, and the culture is welcoming and fun. If you are eager to build a career in the restaurant industry within a company that values fun, teamwork, and top-tier service, the Server role at Red Robin is an excellent place to start.
