Job Requirements

  • Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats
  • Ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets multiple times per shift
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal communication skills
  • Mobility to remain active throughout the shift
  • Willingness to perform other duties as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant
  • Transports plates, glasses, and baskets to and from dining room, service bar, and kitchen about 30 times per shift
  • Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills
  • Mobility required during the entire shift
  • Ability to interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner

Job Duties

  • Deliver food and drinks to guests using IHOP’s team delivery system
  • Greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service
  • Interact verbally with all guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
  • Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system
  • Observe guests and respond to any additional requests
  • Present guest check and accept payment, making correct change or completing charge card procedures
  • Participate in clearing and resetting dining room tables
