Job Requirements

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to communicate verbally with guests
  • Physical mobility to be on feet and move around throughout the shift
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Willingness to perform cleaning and transport duties
  • Previous foodservice or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, and booth seats, and pick up debris
  • Ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets approximately 30 times per shift
  • Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be mobile throughout the entire shift
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • Deliver food and drinks to guests using IHOP’s team delivery system
  • Greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service
  • Interact verbally with guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
  • Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system
  • Observe guests and respond to additional requests
  • Present guest checks, accept payments, make correct change or complete charge card procedures
  • Participate in clearing and resetting dining room tables
