Job Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to communicate verbally with guests
- Physical mobility to be on feet and move around throughout the shift
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to perform cleaning and transport duties
- Previous foodservice or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, and booth seats, and pick up debris
- Ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets approximately 30 times per shift
- Basic reading, writing, math, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be mobile throughout the entire shift
- Other duties as assigned
Job Duties
- Deliver food and drinks to guests using IHOP’s team delivery system
- Greet guests, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food, drinks, and service
- Interact verbally with guests to create a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Relay orders to service bar and kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system
- Observe guests and respond to additional requests
- Present guest checks, accept payments, make correct change or complete charge card procedures
- Participate in clearing and resetting dining room tables
