Job Requirements

  • At least sixteen years of age
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an eighth-grade level
  • Positive and energetic attitude towards residents
  • Physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall
  • Must pass a criminal background check

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum eighth-grade proficiency in English
  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift
  • Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with older adults
  • Ability to assist residents with mobility and safety

Job Duties

  • Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining area
  • Engage with residents by mingling and fostering social interactions
  • Prepare tables, roll silverware, and assist with meal service setup
  • Buss tables, sweep floors, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
  • Assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and after a fall
  • Promote a warm, friendly, and safe dining environment
  • Support team efforts by being attentive to residents’ needs and dining service flow
