The role of Breakfast Server at Archer Hotel Napa invites enthusiastic, warm, and service-oriented individuals to join the hospitality team in delivering memorable guest interactions each day. This hourly position offers a competitive pay range between $16.90 and $17.00, with eligibility for tips and other applicable administrative or service charge distributions, in line with company policies. The Breakfast Server plays a vital role in creating an inviting and energetic dining experience in a fast-paced environment, focusing on impeccable service delivery from the moment guests arrive until their departure.

As a Breakfast Server, your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, taking accurate food and beverage orders, and serving with attentiveness and professionalism. You will need to be knowledgeable about the menu, wine, spirits, and promotions to provide insightful recommendations and foster a positive and engaging atmosphere. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a polished and confident presence at the table. Job Requirements

  • Have or be capable of obtaining TIPS certification or other required alcohol safety requirements
  • Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Capable of standing for an entire shift or for an extended amount of time
  • Capable of reaching overhead, utilizing both hands, leaning over, stooping and kneeling
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards
  • Dedicated with a strong work ethic and can work both individually and with a team
  • Comfortable following directions, guidelines and work objectives

  • A plus: At least one year of server experience

Job Duties

  • Greet customers upon arrival to the restaurant
  • Provide gracious and professional food and beverage service in an efficient manner
  • Answer questions, suggestively sell and create an upbeat atmosphere for guests
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards
  • Clear and clean tables as guests leave
  • Set tables throughout the shift when applicable
  • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage items in a timely manner
  • Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • Take food and beverage orders and place orders in point-of-sale system
  • Ensure that the serving station is always clean and well-stocked
  • Support other areas or roles when necessary
  • Be knowledgeable of the menu, brands, prices and options, along with promotions and specials
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times
  • Present the check and be responsible for all transactions, including receiving payment and accurately counting back change
  • Graciously respond to guest concerns or requests, and report the situation to the Manager
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Execute daily side work with enthusiasm and motivation
  • Serve alcoholic/nonalcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Complete any other tasks as requested by management
