Job Requirements

  • Have or be capable of obtaining TIPS certification or other required alcohol safety requirements
  • Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Capable of standing for an entire shift or for an extended amount of time
  • Capable of reaching overhead, utilizing both hands, leaning over, stooping and kneeling
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards
  • Dedicated with a strong work ethic and can work both individually and with a team
  • Comfortable following directions, guidelines and work objectives

  • A plus: At least one year of server experience

Job Duties

  • Greet customers upon arrival to the restaurant
  • Provide gracious and professional food and beverage service in an efficient manner
  • Answer questions, suggestively sell and create an upbeat atmosphere for guests
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards
  • Clear and clean tables as guests leave
  • Set tables throughout the shift when applicable
  • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage items in a timely manner
  • Replenish beverages and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
  • Take food and beverage orders and place orders in point-of-sale system
  • Ensure that the serving station is always clean and well-stocked
  • Support other areas or roles when necessary
  • Be knowledgeable of the menu, brands, prices and options, along with promotions and specials
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times
  • Present the check and be responsible for all transactions, including receiving payment and accurately counting back change
  • Graciously respond to guest concerns or requests, and report the situation to the Manager
  • Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Execute daily side work with enthusiasm and motivation
  • Serve alcoholic/nonalcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Complete any other tasks as requested by management
