The role of Server/Bartender at Five Iron Golf is pivotal in delivering a seamless and enjoyable experience to guests. This position extends beyond traditional service roles, requiring team members to guide guests through both the menu and the gaming components effectively. The Server/Bartender is responsible for elevating the overall guest satisfaction by offering knowledgeable recommendations about food, beverages, and cocktails, while also enhancing sales through strategic upselling techniques. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and enjoy interacting with guests to create memorable experiences. The Server/Bartender will manage key operational responsibilities such as using point-of-sale systems efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the bar and simulators, managing inventory, and contributing creative ideas for specials, cocktails, and promotional events. This position is part-time with a schedule that includes nights and weekends, offering a starting pay rate of $12.62 per hour plus tips. Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

Deliver exceptional service to guests, ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience
Maintain extensive knowledge of our food and beverage offerings
Present menus, answer questions about menu items and alcohol offerings, make recommendations, and use upselling techniques
Use point-of-sale terminals to enter orders and process payments accurately
Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure bar is well-stocked
Ensure the bar, golf simulators, and surrounding areas are clean and guest-ready
Create fresh and new ideas for specials, cocktails, and promotions
Take pride in ensuring guests' enjoyment by actively checking in with guests at the bar and in assigned simulators during their visit to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all of our technology, additional products, and promotions
Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness
Verify guests' legal drinking age
Assist with closing duties as needed
