Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum of one (1) year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living
- maintain certifications including CPR and First Aid, ServeSafe, Local Health Department Food Handler Card
- comply with all federal, state/provincial, and local food safety regulations
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to perform physical duties including standing and walking for extended periods
- willingness to complete assigned side work and other duties
- pass drug test (excluding marijuana)
- participate in required health and safety testing including Tuberculosis Test and Physical Evaluation
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- bus and reset tables per company standards
- clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- complete required side work as assigned
- attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- maintain knowledge of menu items and can provide general descriptions
- assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- practice safe food handling procedures at all times in accordance with all federal, state/provincial, and local laws, regulations, and guidance and Sunrise policies and procedures
- comply with national/provincial regulations pertaining to occupational health and safety and Risk Management programs and policies, adhere to safety rules and regulations, and practice safety procedures at all times including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Lockout Tagout procedures
- perform other Dining Services duties such as wash and sanitize all dishes and china, silverware, glassware, utensils, and cookware, sweep work areas, sanitize production areas, empty trash, prepare and serve light meals, assist with food preparation and plating when necessary
- participate actively as a member of a team and commit to working toward team goals
- demonstrate in daily interactions with others, our Team Member Credo
- commit to serving our residents and guests through our Principles of Service
- contribute to overall engagement programs and processes
- attend regular meetings such as Town Hall, Department Team, Cross Over, and others as directed
- maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state/province or other regulating authorities
- perform other duties as assigned
