Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • must be at least 16 years old
  • food handler certification is required within 30 days of hire
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
  • passion for serving others in a formal dining setting
  • ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions
  • must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
  • must be able to pass preemployment screening and drug testing

Job Duties

  • Ensure timely breakfast prep and room delivery
  • deliver efficient and formal table service to residents and guests during mealtimes and catered functions
  • assist with food preparation, set-up, and clean-up to ensure a smooth dining experience
  • respond to resident requests and resolve any concerns promptly
  • ensure food is presented and served according to established standards
  • work collaboratively with team members and leadership to maintain a high standard of service
