Job Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D.
- prior experience in food service preferred
- certification as a California Food Handler
- ability to pass post offer pre-employment testing including criminal background check
- successful completion of drug test
- successful completion of TB screen test
- successful completion of health screen
Job Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalent G.E.D. preferred
- previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- valid California Food Handler certification
- strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- understanding of quality customer service philosophy
- ability to work efficiently under supervision
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Set up meal areas and dining tables for service
- deliver meals and refreshments to residents in a timely manner
- provide friendly and attentive service to residents and guests
- clear and clean tables promptly after meal periods
- adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- assist with inventory and stocking of dining supplies
- report any issues or resident concerns to the supervisor
