Uchi Washington D.C. (coming soon!) is a new restaurant located in the heart of downtown Washington D.C. at 1150 17th Street NW. This exciting establishment is set to begin orientation in mid-April 2026 with a planned grand opening in mid-May 2026. The restaurant will offer a unique dining experience featuring non-traditional Japanese cuisine crafted by James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole. Known for its perfect balance of elevated food and impeccable service, Uchi is dedicated to creating an unforgettable culinary adventure for its guests. The Server position at Uchi Washington D.C. offers hourly pay of $10.30 plus tips, providing a rewarding compensation structure for those passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will play a critical role in ensuring guests enjoy outstanding service that matches the elevated quality of the food. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a professional appearance and a friendly demeanor. The position demands excellent communication skills, physical stamina to manage long periods of standing and walking, and the ability to handle trays and dishes weighing up to 50 pounds. Servers will need to navigate the various aspects of dining service including taking orders accurately, delivering food promptly, addressing guest needs efficiently, and working collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
