Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service, preferably in a senior living or fine dining environment
- Valid food handler certification
- Availability to work full time, including weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
Job Qualifications
- Experienced server capable of working weekdays and weekends
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of food handling safety and certifications
- Ability to provide prompt, friendly, and professional service
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently during dining service
- Familiarity with fine dining service standards
Job Duties
- Prepare tables, present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service
- Remain knowledgeable about posted daily specials
- Write food order and relay order to kitchen
- Serve courses from kitchen and service bars
- Clear and reset counters or tables at conclusion of each course
- Assist in keeping dining tables and chairs, floors, linens and serving stations clean, bussed and stocked
- Maintain required food handlers certifications
