Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in high-volume or fine dining service
  • Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage offerings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Professional grooming and adherence to uniform standards
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Capability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • 2 plus years in upscale high volume or fine dining service
  • Extensive understanding of food, wine, spirits, and proper service techniques
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional grooming and attire consistent with luxury service standards
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Sommelier or wine certification a plus
  • Familiarity with fine dining service styles such as French service and table-side preparation
  • Experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable and POS systems

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide detailed knowledge of food, wine, and beverage offerings
  • Guide guests through the dining experience with personalized recommendations
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages
  • Adhere to high service standards, including table setting, wine service, and proper etiquette
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned station and dining areas
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with grace, discretion, and professionalism
  • Process orders using POS systems, handle payments accurately, and follow closing procedures
  • Uphold safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in compliance with health regulations
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and service briefings
