Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in serving or bartending in a high volume setting
- valid TABC certification
- valid food handlers certificate
- ability to stand for prolonged periods
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- ability to follow basic instructions and procedures
- commitment to excellent customer service
- proficiency with POS systems

Job Duties
- Assist the other servers monitoring and coordinating the day-to-day operations of his/her section during each shift and ensure all FOH SOP's including HACCP are duly followed
- interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, efficient, professional and confidential
- prepare drinks in accordance with proper mix ratios and deliver to guests pleasantly
- ensure spotless service delivered to all guests meeting their needs and expectations to the highest level
- ensure unit is well maintained and all equipment, materials and utensils are in perfect working condition
- arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and report defects to Restaurant Manager
- greet guests warmly and provide pleasant and comfortable experiences
- maintain current knowledge of bar inventory and mixed drink recipes
- have a good understanding of food, wine, cocktails, and beers
- communicate effectively with restaurant manager, servers, and host/hostess to ensure enjoyable guest experience
- engage guests with pleasant greetings and take drink orders to HHG bar service standards
- mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- check food before serving to confirm appearance, temperature, and portions
- follow HHG food and beverage standards and procedures per training manual
- fill out requisitions, par, and supply lists
- fully comply with state liquor laws
- perform all duties safely and monitor others
- be pleasant, hospitable, and attentive to guests always
- relay guest complaints/comments to Manager
- maintain daily cleanliness of the bar before, during, and after shifts
- ensure proper reconciliation of documentation
- clean and stock coolers/side stations daily up to stock par
- ensure timely and accurate entry of orders into computer system and collection of payment
- minimize waste and maintain controls for forecasted food and beverage costs
- ensure recipe cards, production schedules, plating guides, and photos are current and posted
- reconcile money and checks from servers/guests
- ensure profitable bar cost by accurate product measurement
- follow correct cash out procedures for servers
- send orders through computer terminal
- take physical inventory of specified food items
- ensure menu items are prepared following recipes
- ring up food and drinks properly
- follow cash handling responsibilities as dictated by HHG policy
- be fully responsible and accountable for an issued bank
- collect money for food and beverage served
