Job Requirements

  • Be able to speak clearly and listen attentively
  • Ability to read and write
  • Availability to work day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
  • Reliability to work scheduled shifts
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and compliance
  • Physical and mental stamina for job demands including lifting 50 pounds and extensive standing
  • Age 21 or older

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current Food Handler’s Permit
  • Current Alcohol Certification
  • Minimum one year of experience as a server or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and compliance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Reliable with availability for varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds
  • Age 21 years or older

Job Duties

  • Coordinate efforts of restaurant and kitchen personnel to exceed guest expectations
  • Prepare dining tables according to restaurant setup specifications
  • Engage guests to make them feel welcome and attended to
  • Follow company sequence of service to maintain natural flow
  • Demonstrate product knowledge and apply salesmanship in answering questions and making recommendations
  • Process guest orders using Aloha POS ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor diners to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests
  • Comply with State Liquor Laws and company RASP plan
  • Assist busser with stocking, clearing, and resetting tables
  • Accurately total bills and accept payments
  • Perform side work including napkin and utensil roll-ups, menu wipe down, and restaurant cleaning
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
