Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently is a primary responsibility, followed by timely delivery of these orders to the kitchen staff.

Once the food and drinks are prepared, the Server ensures they are delivered promptly to the correct tables, making sure they meet the customers' satisfaction. If any issues occur with the order, such as incorrect items or improper preparation, the Server handles these situations by coordinating with the kitchen to rectify the problem swiftly. Besides serving, the Server also clears tables as guests finish their meals, maintaining a neat dining environment. They handle payment processing, prepare customers' checks, and collect payments, demonstrating accuracy and courtesy during transactions.

In addition to direct customer service roles, the Server supports other essential restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments, ensuring that the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently. Physical stamina is important since the role involves prolonged periods of standing and walking as well as carrying trays of food weighing up to 50 pounds. Job Duties

  • Greets customers as they are seated at the table
