The Server position at Century Park Associates is a PRN role offering a starting wage of $16.00 per hour, with pay commensurate upon experience. This position involves working several scheduled days and being on-call for additional shifts, allowing for a flexible and dynamic work schedule. Reporting to the Dining Services Director or Dining Room Supervisor, the Server plays a vital role in delivering restaurant-style dining with an emphasis on hospitality and resident satisfaction.

In this role, the Server is responsible for ensuring an excellent dining experience that aligns with all applicable laws, regulations, and the company’s high standards. A core aspect of the position includes serving meals efficiently, assisting with dining room preparation, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Additionally, the Server is tasked with welcoming residents and visitors in a warm, professional manner, demonstrating excellent customer service skills throughout their shift.

A unique element of this position is the Lead Server responsibility, which involves training and guiding new servers to uphold Century Park standards. The Lead Server supports meal counts and manages meal tickets, facilitating smooth and efficient dining room operations. Servers also participate in pre-meal menu review meetings to stay informed about daily offerings and assist residents with food selections, ensuring personalized and respectful service.

Other essential duties include replenishing beverages, handling dish room tasks, clearing and resetting tables, removing soiled linens, and performing various cleaning and preparation activities before and after meals. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, communication, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Job Duties

  • removes trash and keeps dining room clean, dry and free of safety hazards
  • prepares for next meal by cleaning tables, wiping out chairs, filling condiment containers, mopping, sweeping, cleaning coffee maker and juice machine
