Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous hospitality or food and beverage experience
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • knowledge of state and local alcohol service laws
  • physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, lift up to 40 pounds
  • ability to work in moderate noise environment
  • willingness to work varied shifts
  • commitment to delivering high service standards

Job Duties

  • Providing a warm, welcoming greeting to members and their guests
  • ensure members are served in a timely manner according to service standards
  • provide an exceptional dining experience
  • lead and instill a respectful and positive work culture
  • train and develop staff abilities
  • maintain thorough knowledge of menus, specials, and out-of-stock items
  • perform opening and closing duties with urgency
  • keep bar and service areas clean and organized
  • accurately operate POS system for orders and payments
  • assist team members as needed
  • communicate effectively with staff and management
  • restock supplies and alert management of shortages
  • prepare close out paperwork accurately
  • report health and safety concerns promptly
  • attend informational meetings
  • take responsibility for the quality of services provided
  • assist in investigating member complaints
  • assist in other food and beverage outlets if required
  • perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors or managers
