Job Requirements

  • Passion for the people, place and culture of our community
  • Minimum of one year experience as a restaurant server in a free-standing or hotel restaurant
  • Valid WA Food Worker Card and mandatory Alcohol Server Training Permit
  • Ability to meet local age requirements to serve alcohol
  • Availability to work flexible schedule including mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Fluency in English, verbal and written
  • Ability to continuously stand or walk for majority of a shift
  • Capacity to negotiate wet tile floors and steps
  • Fine motor skills for beverage pouring, cocktail decoration, and napkin folding
  • Ability to roll or carry tables and chairs when needed
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 30 lb trays, crates or boxes
  • Occasionally carry items over shoulder
  • Use hand and elbow movements for polishing glassware, setting tables, and mixing drinks
  • Excellent sight and balance for varying floor surfaces
  • Ability to handle hot fluids like coffee and tea safely

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience as a restaurant server in a free-standing or hotel restaurant

  • Ability to meet local age requirements to serve alcohol

  • Basic knowledge of culinary and beverage terms
  • Experience in working collaboratively within a team environment

Job Duties

  • Uphold and model the companys principles of People, Place and Character, driving collaboration, intuition and translocal hospitality
  • Assist in all aspects of a guests experience from beginning to end by extending a friendly greeting in an inviting environment, ensuring proper steps of service to create exceptional guest experiences
  • Execute on requests in a friendly and timely manner, ensuring satisfaction throughout and adjusting as necessary
  • Participate in daily lineups and staff meetings to develop ideas and objectives with the service team and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain working knowledge of the menus, ingredients, and daily availability
  • serve alcohol safely, responsibly, and legally
  • Accurately account for all monetary transactions during shifts
  • Serve food and beverage items based on guest requests while respecting health and safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation with respect for guests, peers, and equipment
  • Demonstrate urgency in responding to guest requests
  • Understand basic culinary and beverage terms and continually study the menu to enhance dining experiences
  • Report maintenance or facility issues to food and beverage leadership
  • Communicate promptly with F&B and Culinary teams to ensure timely food delivery
  • Assist in other areas of the Food & Beverage Department as needed
