The role offered is for Part-Time Seasonal Servers at Ripple & Roots, a brand-new lunch, dinner, and bar outlet within Hyatt Regency Austin. This position is expected to run from early April to September 15th and is an excellent opportunity for passionate, curious, and hospitality-driven individuals who thrive in a dynamic restaurant setting. Ripple & Roots celebrates the diverse culinary traditions of Texas by honoring the cooking heritage of Native Americans, the Old South, Latinos, and Asians. As a server at Ripple & Roots, individuals will play an essential role in connecting with guests, sharing menu knowledge, making recommendations, and fostering a welcoming environment. The role requires quick learning of the menu to confidently guide guests through food and drink selections, engaging them in casual conversation to enhance their restaurant experience. Alongside excellent guest service, servers must contribute to maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, assisting with general restaurant preparation. Whether working on the floor or helping behind the scenes, every contribution supports the restaurant’s mission of delivering food that tells a story and service that feels like home. Experience in restaurant service is strongly preferred, but a genuine desire to satisfy guests and outstanding communication skills are crucial for success in this role.
