The Server role at Hilton Garden Inn Denver South Park Meadows Area is pivotal in providing prompt, friendly, and accurate food service to guests. The server's responsibilities encompass greeting guests warmly, accurately describing menu options, taking food and beverage orders, timely delivery of food, handling payment transactions through POS systems, and preparing specialized drinks including coffee. Servers also contribute to maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, assist with seating arrangements, ensure food safety compliance, and support hotel events and operations with strong knowledge about the hotel’s features and amenities.

In addition to offering superior customer service, the server position requires collaboration with team members to uphold high standards of hospitality and cleanliness. Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily and provide clear food and beverage descriptions
  • Deliver hot food items promptly from kitchen to tables
  • Input orders into POS system and process accurate payments
  • Prepare coffee and other specialty drinks
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed
  • Observe diners and respond to guest requests
  • Complete daily inventory prep sheet and other side work
  • Escort guests to tables as needed
  • Ensure food safety compliance including product rotation and labeling
  • Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and surrounding areas
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and amenities
