Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in hospitality or related service industry preferred
  • Must provide friendly, efficient service with a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Punctuality and adherence to clock-in/out procedures
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Capable of lifting moderate weight such as linens and supplies
  • Good communication skills and ability to understand English
  • Must provide notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
  • Willingness to support team efforts beyond assigned duties

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to enhance guest relations
  • Work collaboratively with team members to contribute to high guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support events and groups at the hotel as needed
  • Use relevant technology effectively for role responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly, approved greetings
  • Keep workspaces clean and well-organized throughout front and back of house
  • Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public areas when necessary
  • Always greet guests happily while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • Provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Maintain a flawless uniform and professional appearance
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude and willingness to assist beyond traditional duties
  • Deliver food and beverage orders promptly and accurately
  • Input orders into POS system and process guest payments
  • Prepare coffee and other specialized drinks as a barista
  • Clear, clean, and reset dining tables as needed
  • Monitor diners to anticipate and respond to guest requests
  • Complete daily inventory prep sheets and other allowable side work
  • Escort guests to tables when needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of restaurant and surrounding areas
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel hours and amenities
