Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
associate degree or equivalent work experience in electronics, computer assembly/repair, or technical field desirable
two years of electro-mechanical assembly and test experience desirable
proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
proficiency in Microsoft Server OS desirable
basic understanding of PC system architecture
experience with Windows and Linux operating systems preferred
proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
ability to participate in safety programs and follow OSHA policies
ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds short distances
ability to push/pull pallet jack with up to 1500 lbs load
physical capability for standing, lifting, twisting, climbing ladders
willingness to work with dust and debris from returned equipment
authorized to work without visa sponsorship

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
associate degree or equivalent work experience in electronics, computer assembly/repair, or technical field desirable
two years of electro-mechanical assembly and test experience desirable
proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
proficiency in Microsoft Server OS desirable
basic understanding of PC system architecture including client and server platforms
experience with Windows 7+, Windows 2008 Server+, Linux (SLES or RHEL), Microsoft HyperV and VMWare ESX operating systems preferred
proven technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with 1-3 years of applicable experience
experience with DOS, uEFI, and Embedded Operating Systems

Job Duties

Build, set up, and configure various server platforms and Ethernet devices following detailed manufacturing work instructions and gaming regulations
install drivers and software onto 10/100/1000MB wired Ethernet controllers, data storage devices, network interface cards, and other network devices to prepare server equipment for testing
perform prescribed test procedures on server equipment including replicating customer-reported issues and troubleshooting root causes
identify significant and/or recurring technical and/or quality problems with server equipment and build processes, reporting to production leadership
assist with developing and implementing solutions to address issues
decommission old servers and equipment
manage inventory using 6S/Basis methods
perform other duties as assigned by leadership
adhere to company employee handbook guidelines
participate fully in company health and safety programs and comply with OSHA policies
follow all lawful employer safety and health rules
