Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Six months experience in food service preferred
  • Knowledgeable of food and alcoholic beverages
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills, must be fluent and literate in English
  • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations
  • Able to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Must be able to lift trays of food above shoulder level for a distance of up to fifty yards
  • Tolerate areas of cold and high temperature in excess of 115 degrees
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing high noise levels and bright lights
  • Successful or better performance against Performance Appraisal Standards
  • Teamwork - ability to work collaboratively within the outlet for effective day to day operations
  • Compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment
  • Knowledge of and compliance with department, property and company policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Interacting with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner
  • Responsible for complete set-up, stocking and service of assigned area
  • Set, clean, and reset tables
  • Remove dirty dishes, glassware, flatware, and soiled linens from tables and countertops, transport to dish area
  • Monitor and replenish all stock items in assigned area in a neat, accurate and timely fashion
  • Refill water glasses, coffee cups, butter/condiments, bread, and carry order to tables as needed
  • Make coffee or tea as needed
  • Ensure assigned work area is neat, clean and sanitized throughout shift by wiping tables, counter areas, beverage stations, sinks, and sweeping and mopping floors
  • Partner with culinary team and server to ensure coordinated work flow during shift
  • Maintain all equipment in proper fashion
  • Accountable for meeting or exceeding all State and company sanitation requirements (ServSafe)
  • Adhere to regulatory, safety, departmental and company policies
  • Support safety and accident prevention programs
  • Present oneself as a credit to company and encourage others to do the same
  • Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned
