The part-time Server position at Avamere at Park Place plays a crucial role in supporting the dining services within the community. This role involves preparing and setting up meal trays and food carts, ensuring that menus and food supplies are readily available, and assisting cooks in meal preparation. The Server is also responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dining and kitchen areas, including cleaning utensils, washing dishes, and keeping workspaces free of hazards. This position operates under a flexible 12-hour shift schedule, covering either the 6 PM to 6 AM or 6 AM to 6 PM shifts, especially with weekend coverage requirements. Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible 12-hour shifts, including weekends
- must have a Food Handler's Card or obtain one within 30 days of employment
- experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility preferred

Job Duties
- Set up meal trays, food carts and the dining room
- ensure that food, menus and supplies for the next meal are readily available
- assist in daily cleaning duties, such as worktables, refrigerators, etc.
- retrieve dishes from the dining room, wash and clean utensils, and return them to their proper storage areas
- keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous materials
- assist cooks in preparing meals
