This position offers part-time employment within the Clubhouse department, explicitly designed for candidates seeking to contribute to a dynamic team under the guidance of the Food & Beverage Manager and Supervisors. The server role is integral to maintaining the clubhouse’s reputation by ensuring excellent service delivery in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders, serving members promptly, and employing suggestive selling techniques to enhance the dining experience while adhering to payment protocols.

Beyond serving, your duties will extend to preparing stations and tables for both regular dining and private events, guaranteeing that every aspect of the service area meets the clubhouse’s high standards. Cleanliness and orderliness of the dining environment are critical, and it will be your responsibility to uphold these standards continuously throughout your shift. The role requires a keen understanding of food and beverage items, their preparation, and effective communication skills to promote menu specials and suggest suitable choices to members.

The ideal candidate will be equipped with a Food Handlers' Certification and possess at least one year of experience working as a server in a fine dining context. Prior experience in a club setting is preferred, adding value to your understanding of member expectations and clubhouse operations. Educationally, a minimum of a high school diploma is required, although some college education is preferred, enhancing your communication and computational skills.

This role demands excellent verbal and written communication skills, fundamental computer skills, and sound computational ability to manage guest checks and ensure accurate payment collection. Additionally, knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, and the ability to describe menu offerings in detail is essential.
