Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Food Handlers' Certification
- Minimum one year experience as a server in a fine dining environment
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace
- Good communication skills
- Basic computational ability
- Basic computer literacy
- Knowledge of table settings and service ware
- Knowledge of food and beverage items and service
- Ability to use suggestive selling techniques
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and order in dining areas
Job Qualifications
- Food Handlers' Certification
- High school graduate
- Some college preferred
- At least one year of experience as a server in a fine dining environment
- Prior club experience preferred
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic computational ability
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware
- Knowledge of food and beverage items including preparation and ingredients
- Ability to describe menu items, prices, and preparation methods
- Ability to use suggestive selling techniques
Job Duties
- Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests using suggestive selling techniques as appropriate
- Clear tables during service
- Control guest checks and secure proper payment and signature
- Ensure station and table set-ups are complete
- Perform various side duties as assigned for both dining room and private events
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of service stations and servicing equipment
