We are currently seeking a talented, smiling, and enthusiastic Server who genuinely cares about culture and maintaining a positive work environment. This daytime Server position requires daytime availability and offers competitive wages, health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days of full-time employment (minimum 30 hours weekly). After one year of continuous full-time work, employees are eligible for two weeks of paid vacation at their regular rate of pay, alongside other benefits such as daily family meals and generous employee discounts.
The role of the Server at Tiny Boxwoods goes beyond simply taking orders; it entails providing an authentic, friendly, and enthusiastic hospitality experience that exceeds guest expectations. Servers are expected to have a deep knowledge of the food, beverage, wine, spirit, and coffee menus to confidently communicate and make recommendations. They will be responsible for preparing the dining room and patio for service, ensuring every guest is well taken care of from seating to the end of their meal with impeccable table maintenance and quality control. Effective communication skills, both with guests and team members, are vital for this position along with the ability to multi-task and manage timing of meal courses efficiently.
Additionally, the Server must adhere strictly to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies. Attention to detail is paramount, from memorizing recipes and beverage notes to professional bottle presentation and using the Point of Service (POS) system accurately for order entry and cash handling. Teamwork and flexibility in scheduling are equally important to maintain smooth operation and a harmonious work atmosphere. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and remain active throughout the shift. Job Requirements

- previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role preferred
