Job Description

RiverWoods is Northern New England's largest family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), dedicated to providing exceptional service and care in a welcoming and vibrant environment. Since 1994, RiverWoods has been driven by a founding premise of making things better every day for residents, employees, and everyone connected with the community. The organization values creating a sense of community and peace of mind, ensuring that growing older is a time of productivity, reward, and enriched opportunities. With three unique communities under its umbrella, RiverWoods offers a nurturing atmosphere focused on high-quality living and compassionate support to its residents.

RiverWoods is currently seeking servers to join their dynamic culinary services team. This role offers flexible per diem hours, allowing candidates to select shifts that fit their schedules, including afternoons and evenings, such as 4 pm to 8 pm, and time slots that accommodate after-school activities, sports, or other personal commitments. The position provides an excellent opportunity to be part of a creative, fun, and talented team dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to residents in a warm, community-focused setting. This role offers competitive pay starting at $15 per hour and includes a range of benefits such as wellness programs, on-site fitness opportunities, an employee meal program, education assistance, and the innovative perk of daily pay through a partnership with DailyPay, enabling team members to earn and access wages quickly.

As a server at RiverWoods, you will play a vital role in enhancing residents' dining experiences by providing attentive and courteous service in settings ranging from casual Bistro dining to fine dining restaurants. Responsibilities include taking meal orders using tablet software, assisting with packaging to-go meals, setting and clearing tables, managing opening and closing duties such as rolling utensils and cleaning silverware and glassware, and maintaining positive communication with dining room managers and hosts or hostesses to ensure smooth operations and resident satisfaction. The role does not require previous experience, making it accessible to various applicants including those entering the workforce or seeking flexible part-time employment. RiverWoods champions a supportive atmosphere where each team member's contribution is valued and essential to the community's mission.

At RiverWoods, you will work in a bright and attractive environment, surrounded by a team focused on delivering care and fostering connection. Beyond the hands-on service tasks, this position offers meaningful work that impacts the lives of others, making it suitable for individuals who want a career with purpose and growth potential in the healthcare and hospitality fields. Whether you are looking to develop your skills, gain valuable experience, or be part of a caring community, RiverWoods provides a strong foundation for your career journey.
