- Previous serving experience preferred
- Enthusiasm for customer service and a guest-first mentality
- Basic computer literacy
- Basic math skills
Job Duties
- Build positive relationships with guests, coworkers, and managers
- Prioritize a quality customer experience with a warm and friendly approach and efficient service
- Develop a thorough knowledge of food and beverage menus
- Accurately ring up all food and beverages, per customer order
- Assist with bussing tables in assigned section, greeting guests, and delivering food to assigned tables as needed
- Clean assigned section and sanitize workspace in service areas as needed per restaurant protocols
- Provide safe alcohol service through use of company resources, proper ID checks, and identifying signs of intoxication
- Manage guest checkout process by efficiently and responsibly handling cash and credit card transactions
- Occasionally answer phone and assist walk-in guests with carryout orders as needed
- Become knowledgeable about the Good Food Rewards program and manage in accordance with company policy
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures per company policy, in alignment with health department regulations
- Effectively communicate with bar, kitchen, and management teams to provide quality customer service
