The role of Server at Ellore Senior Living is vital in upholding the community’s reputation for outstanding service. This part-time position requires availability on weekends, offering hourly pay between $18.67 and $21.50 depending on experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Your duties will involve taking accurate food and beverage orders from residents, family members, and visitors, entering them precisely into the point of sale system, and setting up and breaking down tables as needed. Maintaining proper serving etiquette, including serving from the left and clearing used dishes between courses, is essential. In addition, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to established safety standards. Teamwork is emphasized within this role, promoting cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments to ensure a seamless dining experience for all. This position is perfect for individuals who possess excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to work with the elderly, demonstrating care for their needs in a respectful and dignified manner. While experience in serving is preferred, the company is committed to training the right candidate. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff, supervisors, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families. The role also requires successful completion of a criminal background check and health screenings, which include physical and TB tests.
