Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- basic reading and writing skills
- ability to speak English in an understandable manner
- previous experience in food service preferred
- knowledge and experience in working with elderly
- previous dementia experience preferred
- food service sanitation certificate according to state/local requirements
- ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- ability to easily lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- deliver and serve meals and snacks to residents, families, and guests in an efficient, attentive, and courteous manner
- maintain a gracious dining experience through tact, sensitivity, and professionalism
- adhere to food service sanitation standards according to state and local requirements
- assist in setting up and cleaning dining areas
- communicate effectively with residents and team members
- handle physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- participate in employee appreciation events and training sessions
